Changelog
June 2026
June 2026
AI proposal review came together, cards went Markdown-native, and a new dashboard arrived.
New
- Review AI proposals in context. AI-proposed changes now show up inline in the board’s chat as ghost cards, with a bulk review drawer to accept or dismiss many at once and a collapsed pill to keep things tidy. AI can also propose edits to existing cards, not just new ones.
- Create boards with AI. The
create_maptool lets AI assistants spin up a template-backed board for you. - @mentions in cards. Mention collaborators directly in a card’s description and acceptance-criteria editors.
- New dashboard. A redesigned (“Electric Cobalt”) dashboard with contextual titles and faithful board minimap thumbnails.
- Billing analytics. An MRR ledger plus import of historical revenue movements from Stripe, for clearer revenue reporting.
Improved
- Markdown-native cards and comments. Card descriptions, acceptance criteria, and comments are now plain Markdown — cleaner, portable, and ready to sync with external Markdown specs.
- Jira connection. A modernized, Cloud-only Jira connect flow with the legacy OAuth 1.0a path removed.
- AI attribution. Agent writes now record the human who invoked them, so you can see who’s behind a proposal.
- Email. Transactional email moved to Loops for more reliable, on-brand delivery.
Fixed
- Sign-up no longer fails if a welcome email hiccups.
- Tree connections and AI ghost cards stay correctly positioned as layouts re-tidy.
- Bulk card deletes clean up their connections, and the notifications dropdown renders reliably.
- Clearer billing copy for lapsed subscriptions and accounts without a payment method on file.
Behind the scenes: built the docs section of the new CardBoard website.
Note: this covers the month through late June 2026.
